The Manager, SDR Manager is responsible for managing a global team of 4-7 Commercial and Federal Sales Development Representatives who will drive long-term business and revenue by managing the initial prospect conversations. The objective is to secure discovery meetings that will lead to the creation of opportunities. This position will manage the career growth and development of SDR's; develop sales plan and strategy and lead and influence their team to maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting and lead generation. This position will be based out of our Herndon, VA office. The position is 100% remote during COVID.


What you'll do:

  • Train, optimize and mentor a team of SDRs responsible for inbound and outbound sales engagements.
  • Monitor and hold reps accountable to activity-based KPIs
  • Coach, develop and deliver structured training on best practice sales skills, product knowledge and market dynamics to your team
  • Achieve or exceed team daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals and production levels as defined by sales management
  • Manage inbound lead flow and track efficiency of sales and marketing programs
  • Responsible for optimizing call scripts and making recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Proactively identify and launch initiatives to drive new business development growth and operational excellence
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to ensure success of online marketing campaigns


What you'll bring:

  • 3-5+ years of experience managing an SDR team
  • Proven track record of experience meeting or exceeding quota in a highly consultative sales environment.
  • Selling SaaS/Cloud based solutions experience
  • A passion for people development- coaching and career mentoring
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience
  • Experience with Salesforce as a CRM, forecasting, and pipeline management tool
  • Knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing; understand and identify opportunities for customers
