About the job:
The Training Content Developer will own the planning, design, development, delivery and maintenance of Vbrick customer and product learning programs. Learning programs on Vbrick's product portfolio range from eLearning content focused on functionality to instructor-led curriculum on how the products create value for Vbrick partners and colleagues.
These learning programs will focus on the knowledge and skills that customers and employees across the Vbrick product ecosystem need in order to complete their daily tasks. The ideal candidate brings strong content development experience, and the ability to run with one or more projects simultaneously.
What you'll do:
Work with product managers, software developers and other subject matter experts to develop, maintain and produce technical content.
Conduct needs-analysis
Define timeline/resource estimations
Produce course design, quality deliverables, and successful implementation
Ensure deliverables are completed on time with high quality and adhere to company standards
Review and update course content during each product/patch-release cycle
Represent Vbrick University on assigned development projects
Respond to inquiries using good judgement, tact and courtesy
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's Degree required; or equivalent years of experience
Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of corporate training and curricula/courseware development experience in an enterprise software company
Proficient in one or more of the following tools: Captivate, Camtasia, LMS (Totara- Moodle)
SaaS experience (and experience working with Agile software development teams)
Experience creating and evaluating materials in all delivery formats (webinars, workshops, presentations, etc.) for an enterprise software company
Ability to understand software products and write structured course content in a consistent fashion
Strong analytical and research abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented, organized and concise
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner
Must be able to work within tight deadlines in a fast-paced, software development environment
Must be able to work with an extended team, but also excel independently, and have the ability to effectively work in a faced paced environment with tight deadlines while consistently delivering high quality work
Experience working with highly technical topics a plus
Video industry experience a plus
