Title: Enterprise Account Executive, Federal

What you'll do:

  • Prospect and sell direct and indirectly to account prospects while working with the sales engineering, lead development, engineering, product marketing, support and professional services teams.
  • Cultivate relationships and drive account mapping sessions with Cisco (Vbrick's largest partner) as well as other reseller partners in territory to maximize sales efforts.
  • Interact directly with federal customers not just leaving partners to close deals.
  • Maintain current SalesForce.com information for the purposes of both revenue and operations forecasting and in order to inform product management as to future direction.
  • Develop effective strategies for winning against competition in the federal video market.
  • Manage, and direct a virtual teams during the sales cycle to achieve quota assignment.
  • Build and maintain strategic account plans for your major agencies.

What you'll bring:

As a successful candidate, you will have 5 years' experience selling enterprise applications to the federal government. You will have a choice of working out of your home or from our Herndon and travel a minimum of 30% - mostly local.

The following experience and performance metrics are required:

  • Verified consistent history of overachievement in an enterprise federal sales role.
  • Strong consultative sales and closing skills.
  • Complete understanding of government contracting and procurement practices.
  • Solid relationships with a number of federal contractors (SI's, 8(a)s, etc.).
  • Accurate forecasting skills and regular updates in SalesForce.
  • Strong desire to work within a fast-paced team oriented environment and be a self starter.
  • Polished presentation skills you will be expected to demo and present with or without your SE.
  • The following areas are a major advantage:
    • Experience with video/teleconferencing/collaboration a big plus.
    • Experience working with Cisco and/or their partner channel.
    • Experience selling cloud-based or SaaS software at the enterprise level.
    • Security clearances.
