About the Job: The Pricing Specialist will be a member of the Deals Desk team within Sales Operations. This role is critical to our efforts to price business for renewals and growth. You will join an existing Deals Desk Manager and support the Customer Success Team in creating renewal quotes for customer contracts that are set to expire within 3-6 months. Do you enjoy working with excel models to help grow the business and drive revenue? Are you an analytics-type person who also loves to work collaboratively with sales teams to give them the pricing needed to close business? This is a roll up your sleeves very hands on role where you are in the middle of the deal lifecycle. We are looking for someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys driving tasks to completion.

This position can be fully remote if you wish. If you are located near our Herndon, VA or North Haven, CT offices, you can choose to work in the office or a hybrid of in office and remote.

What you'll do:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Vbrick's pricing models to provide pricing support for our Customer Success team
  • Provide management reports and ad hoc analyses
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Vbrick's pricing models and procedures
  • Manage several accounts through the lifecycle from analysis to pricing
  • Build Renewal Opportunities in Salesforce to include:
    • Opportunity information
    • Products (support SKUs)
    • Quote(s)
    • Assets (lists all assets)
  • Understand previous contract renewal terms and how they apply to existing renewals
  • Understand what discounts should be applied to the renewal quote (Direct, Reseller, CCW)
  • Research other contracts under the same customer to possibly co-term multiple dates to one date
  • Assist in improving the overall Renewal pricing process

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2-5 years of experience in pricing, sales-oriented finance, or sales operations with proven success navigating complex pricing and quotes
  • Prior experience with managing renewal contracts preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Contracts and Finance
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Experience with sales tools including Salesforce.com preferred but not required
