About the Job: We're looking for a high energy and well organized Sales Development Representative (SDR) to provide pre-sales support.

The SDR is tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling activities. A successful SDR will focus on a strategic, research-based approach to inbound lead qualification, targeted outbound prospecting, moving leads into and through the sales funnel, and setting up sales qualified appointments. This role is one of the first touch points for prospects and has the opportunity to set the tone for the entire sales cycle.

This position acts as a conduit for sales and marketing alignment. Your success will be determined by your ability to multitask, remain extremely organized both with your time and tracking sales activities, and be able to develop relationships with current and potential customers, channel partners, as well as the entire Vbrick team that you will interact with on a daily basis.

Location: This role can be located out of our Herndon, VA office (we are fully remote currently and will consider a hybrid schedule at some point in the future) or can be located in Eastern or Central time zone and be fully remote.

What you'll do:

  • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
  • Cold call into prospects generated by variety of outside sources
  • Schedule appointments and demos for the Account Executives
  • 'Socially sell' products and services to prospective customers without pitching through a direct sales approach. Guide their learning and understanding along the early stages of the customer journey.
  • Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a field sales rep
  • Work closely with Account Executives to develop intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement and insight tools such as DiscoverOrg and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
  • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone, email and social networks
  • Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, set meetings for conferences
  • Act as the subject matter expert on Vbrick's video management and distribution solution
  • Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum of 1- 3 years' sales experience in SaaS (Required)
  • Strong cold-calling skills and ability to self-source leads (Required)
  • Hunter mentality with drive to identify and close on opportunities (Required)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements and correlating potential business to value that can be provided by Vbrick
  • Have a background in researching and developing an understanding of prospects and contacts online, ideally within a sales or new business environment. You enjoy 'the hunt' for information to build up a profile for contacts.
  • Strong and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation
  • Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving production goals from assigned territory
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company
  • Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of teams without necessarily taking the lead
  • Drive, Grit, Team Oriented: strong desire to compete and win
  • Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools: Salesforce, DiscoverOrg, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience
