Title: Director, Product Marketing

About the Job:

We're looking for a rock-star Director of Product Marketing to join our growing team at Vbrick! If you like to roll up our sleeves, drive messaging, positioning and go-to-market strategy in a rapidly changing industry and want to be a part of our growing team, then we want to speak with you!

As a key member of the Marketing team, you'll help champion product positioning, market analysis, competitive analysis, analyst relationships, Product Marketing content development, shaping our go-to-market strategy. Your software technology background and ability to clearly articulate value and differentiation for our products to both the market and internally to marketing, product and sales teams is essential in this role.

You'll have a deep understanding of the prospects & customers, leveraging insights and research to inform product definition and development and work in close collaboration with our Product Managers, Engineering, Sales and Marketing.

Location: This position can be located out of our headquarters in Herndon, VA (we are fully remote now and have an option to work in the office if you choose) or can be located remotely on the East Coast.

What you'll do:

  • Develop product marketing strategies including targeting, positioning, messaging, buyer personas, drive product launches to help drive acquisition, prospect/customer engagement and retention to drive revenue
  • Understand the market landscape, researching, leveraging industry analysts and share that knowledge cross-functionally across the organization
  • Drive competitive intelligence, differentiators, communicating information company wide to Sales, Marketing, Product & Engineering
  • Own and drive content creation white papers, sales presentations, product videos, blog posts, battle-cards etc
  • Manage the relationship with industry analysts to communicate our strategy, road map, unique value proposition, and customer success
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure consistent and impactful communication across channels to the market and customers (e.g., website, field sales, Customer Success, partners and marketing campaigns)
  • Create compelling product content (e.g. website copy, blog posts, product videos, customer case studies

What you'll bring:

  • 6+ years of product marketing experience with a SaaS based business
  • Proven ability to craft clear, compelling narratives with excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Experience leading a product marketing or product management organization across a portfolio of products (partnering with product management, product marketing and/or engineering to represent market/customer requirements and supporting product launches)
  • Data driven with demonstrated experience analyzing market sizing and trends
  • Communication skills that are effective with all stakeholders including, technical, business, and external stakeholders
  • Experience effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams with the objective driving results
  • Position location- US (working remotely), East coast preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study (MBA preferred)
